In very good condition / unfired. Includes, original box / instructions, 6x Tanaka Works Colt .45 Firing Cartridges in new condition. Serial number : 113092 which is seen on the frame and trigger guard and the last four digits of the serial number stamped on the cylinder as seen in photos above. Proof marking and D.F.C. marking on the barrel, D.F.C marking on the cylinder, barrel and grips and on the wood grips confirming inspected by Captain Frank Heath and Ordnance Sub-Inspector David F. Colt Single Action Cavalry Model revolver manufactured in 1884 and inspected by Captain Frank Heath and Ordnance Sub-Inspector David F. Clark. This revolver is accompanied by a Colt factory letter that states it was one of 150 guns shipped to the U.S. Government on December 31, 1884. The revolver has the Colt military blue finish on the barrel, ejector housing, cylinder, trigger guard and back strap. The one-piece walnut grip is oil finished. The ejector housing has the bullseye ejector rod head utilized until early 1885 and cavalry style hammer with extended, bordered knurling on the spur. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped with the fourth style elongated block address: "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." in one line. The left side of the frame is roll-stamped with the Colt three-date/three-line patent marking followed by the "U.S." property mark. The small "D.F.C." sub-inspection mark is stamped on the underside of the barrel, bottom of the frame above the serial number, side of the chamber and on the right grip heel. A small "P" proofmark is stamped on the underside of the barrel ahead of the "D.F.C." sub-inspection mark and on the side of the cylinder. A "G" Colt inspection mark is stamped below the serial number on the trigger guard and back strap. The lower left side of the grip is stamped with the date "1884" above the Ordnance final inspection stamp which consists of the encircled script monogram "FH". The Ordnance sub-inspection stamp which consists of the script initials "DFC" in a rectangle with rounded ends is stamped on the lower right side of the grip.
