Brief info on the SIG P229

The P228 is the most reliable of all out of the box, and that absolute sense of security is why it has been adopted by many law enforcement agencies. It is a model of such high quality that it is said that only the P226 can compete with the P228 as an industrial product. Born as a compact version of the P226, the P228 features a magazine that can hold 13 rounds of 9mm rounds, easy recoil control, and is versatile enough for women with small hands thanks to its ergonomic grip and trigger arrangement. Since 2005, its characteristics have been carried over with the advent of the P229, which also supports cartridges other than 9mm, but even so, the trust in the high-performance P228 specialized for 9mm bullets is absolute and continues to be used today.

Accessories

PFC Primer caps: �9.50 per box (1 box = 100 PFC caps) These are needed to make the bang, smoke and power to eject the cartridges. Unless using 1 shot disposable cartridges.

9mm Evo 2 Firing reusable blowback cartridges: �2.85 each per cartridge (cartridges can be fired many times over, just replace the 5mm PFC primer cap)
